This study examines how the tilawah method is applied to enhance Qur'anic literacy among students, approached through a systematic literature review. A descriptive qualitative design was adopted, with data sourced from national and international journal articles addressing the tilawah method, Qur'anic learning, and student literacy. Literature sources were gathered through a structured process of searching, screening, reading, and categorizing, followed by content analysis to examine patterns and findings across studies. The results reveal that the tilawah method proves effective in strengthening students' Qur'anic reading competencies, particularly in terms of reading fluency, tajwid application, accurate pronunciation of hijaiyah letters, and the cultivation of consistent Qur'anic recitation habits. Beyond technical skills, the method also fosters greater student motivation and engagement in Qur'anic learning, as its communicative, progressive, and repetitive nature makes the learning process more interactive and accessible. These outcomes suggest that the tilawah method functions not merely as a reading technique but as a holistic learning approach that simultaneously develops students' Qur'anic abilities, nurtures religious habituation, and sustains long-term Qur'anic literacy. As such, it merits recognition as a relevant and effective strategy in contemporary Islamic education.
